    A stand-alone art song with text by poet Brian Brodeur, this song explores what it means to try and live in the moment while realizing it is inescapably moving into the next.

Feverish (2022) - soprano saxophone, electric guitar, bass clarinet (or Paetzold recorder in F)
    Composed for the 2022 São Paolo Contemporary Composers Festival, this piece emulates being in a frenzied, feverish state of stress and anxiety.

    A stand-alone art song that depicts the heated arguments between a son and mother, regarding how to navigate the pandemic. The text is based on real conversations between the composer, his mother, and his friend.

    This triptych of works explore a variety of techniques while explicitly distancing themselves from programmatic thought, allowing the performers and audience free reign to discover their own meaning in the music presented.     This work is about communication between the performers. Through nontraditional use of standard notation, both performers follow each other on the score and react to each other with give figures. In Paths Untrodden (2013-2020) - Two un-gendered voices with Pierrot Ensemble (also available with piano-only)
    A song cycle based on texts by Walt Whitman, this work allows performers the opportunity to have any gender expression or identity deliver the sung material, while also allowing performers to determine their own performance order of the songs. Three Scenes for Wind and Hammer (2020) - Flute/Piccolo and Piano
    A suite depicting the various ways that the blowing of the wind and the striking of a hammer might intertwine.The first movement depicts the fine chiseling and chilly atmosphere needed for creating a sculpture from ice. The second movement find a miner toiling away in the dark, only to begin to hear whispers that drive the mind to madness. The final movement invokes metal-crafting and the brutal process of using searing flame to shape steel.

The Silver Raven (2017) - Flute Choir
    The mythical silver raven begins as a calm, cool egg. Surreptitiously, it begins to stir and gradually morph the shape of its shell into elegant wings before ascending to flight.

    A lyric setting that is both poignant and unsettled, this work exemplifies the knotted anxiety we all feel just under the surface but cannot truly give a name to.

​Vantages (2017) - Flute, Violin, and Piano
    This continuous, five-movement work explores various vantage points, from featuring each instrument in the inner movements, to depicting the four classical elements. Each movement examines one element, divided into three sections, with the final movement being a culmination of the previous four movements to create a new element, Spirit.
